MIRROR SPEED

Only the mirror moves.

A moving head puts the full mass of its head in motion. The M2 moves a lightweight mirror and nothing else: abrupt cuts, rapid chases, movement patterns a head cannot follow.

The same position changes on both. The mirror is there at once, the head arrives late

The maximum pan speed, 160 cues per minute. The mirror keeps the beat, the head never reaches the position.

OPTICS

Razor-sharp beams. Maximum dynamics.

A stepless 8:1 zoom from 2° to 16°. At 2° a concentrated, razor-sharp beam with enormous reach. At 16° broad projections and effects that fill the room.

GOBOS

Rotating and static.

Two gobo wheels: precise projections, textures and dramatic backlight, usable across the whole zoom range.

Rotating 9+open

The fixture has a gobo wheel with 9 rotating gobos plus an open position.

Static 14+open

The fixture has a second, static gobo wheel with 14 fixed gobos plus an open position. They are perfect for projections, texture and beam effects. Seven of them are shown above.

ROXX DEEPCMY (patent pending)

True magenta. Deep red. One CMY system.

Conventional, option A

A true magenta on the wheel. With yellow, it only reaches deep orange, never a real red.

Conventional, option B

A deep purple on the wheel. With yellow a true red, but not true magenta and no warm pastels or orange tones.

ROXX DeepCMY

True magenta, deep red and the warm pastels from one system. Patent pending.

Two prisms. And frost.

Two prisms on seperate optical layers, each indexable, rotatable an stackable, plus a frost. One Gobo throughout.

8-facet circular prism

One projection becomes eight on a rotating ring. Same gobo in every copy.

4-facet linear prism

Four in a row, on it’s own layer, indexable.

Both prism & zoom

Each of the eight is split into a row: the layers multiply. The zoom pulls the patterns together and apart.

Linear Frost

Softens the edges of gobos and prism patterns into a wash.

The tool-free CLUSTER mechanism links several M2 horizontally or vertically.
