We are looking for an
Eventmanager with a marketing focus
(m/f/d) full-time for the Cologne head quarter
Imagine…
…you’re at an international trade show. The booth is set up, the lights come on, and everything looks exactly as you planned. The first visitors stop by, and you know: This is having an impact.
Weeks earlier, you developed concepts, briefed vendors, coordinated schedules, and kept track of what felt like a thousand details. And now everything is running smoothly.
Well, almost everything. Quickly solving a problem here, making a spontaneous change of plans there—but that’s exactly your thing.
You’re an organizational whiz, a troubleshooter, and a creative problem-solver all rolled into one. You think ahead, roll up your sleeves, and keep your cool even when things get hectic.
ROXX is a rapidly growing, internationally active company in the lighting industry. Whether at the Glastonbury Festival, the Eurovision Song Contest, Rock am Ring, Formula 1, the IAA, or Tomorrowland: our products can be found wherever professional lighting makes the difference.
Would you like to bring the ROXX brand to life—at international trade shows, our own events, and wherever we showcase our products? Would you like to manage projects from the initial idea through to the final breakdown while also contributing your creativity to marketing? Then ROXX is the perfect place for you!
Your areas of responsibility
- You plan, organize, and execute our trade show appearances both domestically and internationally, from the initial sketch to the finished booth
- You coordinate all involved partners and service providers (exhibition stand construction, lighting design, technology, logistics, security, etc.)
- You keep track of budgets, timelines, and processes and ensure that everything runs smoothly on-site
- You are responsible for the follow-up of our events and continuously refine our presentations
- You will conceptualize and organize ROXX-branded events such as training sessions, customer events, or networking formats
- You will maintain close communication with our customers to identify exciting projects early on and prepare them for our communications
- You will work with the team to develop content ideas for our channels (social media, website, newsletter, etc.)
- You will assist in the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns related to products, events, and applications
- You will work closely with Sales and Product Development and serve as the central point of contact for event-related matters
- As part of the marketing team, you will support day-to-day operations and actively contribute your ideas
- You will create marketing materials using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite
Your profile
- You have completed a degree or vocational training in event management, marketing, or a related field
- You have prior experience planning and executing events or trade show appearances, ideally in a B2B setting
- You have a real talent for organization and love getting things off the ground and making them happen
- You have a hands-on mentality and are willing to roll up your sleeves and get involved
- You can communicate with a wide variety of partners and service providers as an equal and maintain a clear overview
- You are proficient in using common marketing tools, particularly Adobe Creative Suite
- You have a keen sense for brands, design, and presentation
- You work in a structured, independent manner and remain calm even during stressful periods
- You are fluent in both spoken and written German and English
- You enjoy traveling and being on-site to witness our projects come to life
We offer you
- A dynamic work environment at a fast-growing company in a laid-back industry
- Projects that you don’t just plan—you’re actively involved in bringing them to life
- A lot of responsibility and, at the same time, a lot of trust in your ideas and decisions
- A team that’s passionate about what they do
- Direct insights into the international event and entertainment industry
- Opportunities to develop your skills in the event sector
- A dynamic environment with plenty of creative freedom
- Modern communication equipment
- Flexible working hours, a company bike, and a modern office
